The 4th Athens Conference on Advances in Chemistry was successfully held on 6th – 8th November 2024 in Athens, Greece.

The International Conference was organized by the Department of Chemistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. This year the conference included several plenary and invited lectures, as well as oral and poster presentations in 8 sessions from all fields of chemistry (Analytical, Biochemistry, Environmental, Food, Industrial, Inorganic, Organic, Physical).

The leader of the TrAMS group, Professor Nikolaos S. Thomaidis, was among the invited speakers giving a lecture on:

“Alleviating the need of standards and Leveraging advances in High Resolution Mass Spectrometry for integrated, holistic environmental monitoring of emerging contaminants”.

 

 

 

Other members of the TrAMS group participated in the conference with 3 poster presentations, where the results of several research projects were announced.
