- Identification of transformation products of pharmaceuticals in wastewater during biodegradation by liquid chromatography–quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC–QTOFMS)

- Trace analysis of emerging pollutants in the environment
- Identification of transformation products of emerging pollutants (mainly pharmaceuticals) during batch biodegradation experiments (suspect screening)
- Identification of unknown emerging pollutants and transformation products (non-target screening)
